Garhof Mall – This giant German grocery store is one of the largest in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex area. There are countless products available here, including Italian food, seafood, Chinese food, and American foods. The huge interior is filled with stores, including an international food court, movie theater, gift shop, and food court. The Garhof Market Place is also home to the legendary “World’s biggest parking lot.”
Town Center Plaza – This indoor mall is one of the best places to find food. There are numerous restaurants located here, including some really good family restaurants. There are also some nice retailers located here, including JCPenny, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s. One drawback of this location is that there are rarely any good eating places located around it; therefore, if you plan to spend some time here eating, you might want to eat outside. If you are planning a night out, this isn’t a good choice for your party.
Fairtex – This grocery store is located inside the Dallas Museum of Art. It is one of the city’s premier attractions, as well as a great place to grab lunch or dinner. It’s a little pricey, but if you are looking for quality, this is definitely the place to go. It boasts over two hundred grocery stores and is one of the oldest grocery stores in Texas. It recently was voted the number one spot on the Travel and Leisure Magazine’s list of the best US destinations.
South End Market – If you aren’t a fan of the huge stores, this is definitely the right choice for you. This is one of the largest independent grocery near me stores in the Dallas area. It is located right off I-35 and is close to the downtown area. It typically sells everything from fresh foods to household items and is conveniently located in an area where you will not have to travel far to find what you are looking for. In addition to having a wide variety of items, it is one of the most affordable stores in Dallas.
Fifth Street Marketplace – This is easily the best grocery store for anyone visiting Dallas who is looking to do some shopping on their own. Located in the heart of the city, it is right off I-35 and is one of the largest retailers in the Dallas area. It has a huge variety of products, and several locations throughout the city for those looking to get even more products.
The Stand Out Store – This store is located just south of downtown. It is one of the oldest retailers in all of Texas. It offers a variety of products, but its specialty is Mexican products only. It is one of the few stores in the Dallas area that offer authentic Mexican food.
So, which of these grocery stores is going to be your best choice? It really depends on what you are looking for.
